Can Kenyan documents be legalized by Apostille?
No - Kenya is not a member of the Apostille Convention and does not issue Apostille Stamps. Kenyan documents required for us abroad must be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, then attested in Nairobi by the embassy of the country where the document will be submitted.

How can I obtain my Kenyan Criminal Record Certificate to use abroad?
Kenyan Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) are available from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations
Foreign citizens currently outside Kenya requiring a Kenyan Police Clearance Certificate will need to provide a set of fingerprints and a certified copy of their passport showing at least six months residence. Applications can then be submitted by post or through a representative in Kenya.
Kenyan and foreign nationals currently resident in Kenya can apply online.

Kenyan birth death and marriage certificates can be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign & Diaspora Affairs and at the embassy of the recipient country in Nairobi. Certificates must be issued by the Registrar of Births/Deaths or Marriages.
