Apostilles for Mauritius marriage certificates, birth and death certificates, can be obtained from the Prime Minister's Office in Port Louis. A recent original certificate is required from the Civil Status Office.

A Police Certificate of Character is available to Mauritius citizens and to non-citizens who have a residency or work permit in Mauritius. Certificates are issued in either English or French, on paper when the application is made at the Police Divisional Headquarters or as a digitally signed certificate when the application is made online.
